The results of the midterm elections, mainly. "Gee, in two years the democrats haven't been able to undo eight years of Republican damage to the US? (Largely due to Republican stonewalling, I might add.) Throw them out in favor of the Republicans!" Yeah...that was smart. I'm not even touching the Tea Party.
